| Swing set...day 1 |
| HAHAHAHA. Sure the quality of this picture isn't great, but really who cares. This is priceless. |
Henry: Thank you for the endless enjoyment you give us watching you pick fights with your brother. You take his chair, his toys, give him the evil eye and then run away. Love it.
Ben: Thank you for being so smart and telling me you love me all the time (usually when you are in trouble...). The fact that you use words like enormous and instigator blow my mind. You counted to 50 this weekend. I'm so proud.
My boys really do rock my world.
This weekend we had a cookout with my work peeps at our bosses house. They have three little ones too, so their back yard was filled with bouncy houses, pools, and swing sets. The majority of my immediate HR team has little ones, so it was fun to have them running all over and then dunking themselves in the pool right before we were to leave...dry clothes and all. When we left, Ben asked if we could go to bosses house again, like it was his name.
Chad and Dave are working on the boys play set. The spent hours on it this weekend, and I think it will be ready for the kids to beat up on it tomorrow. I'm hoping for hours of enjoyment, but will settle for fifteen solid minutes at a time.
Ben is done with t-ball. He appeared to enjoy it about a third of the time. Most of the kids stood around or pulled grass. Ben tried to join the other team a few times too. I think for his first organized sport, and for being three years old, he did fantastic. Tomorrow is the final night, but instead of a game it's a cookout. It's been so hot too, his team started with over 20 kids and the last game had only 4 including Ben. Ben had lots of water and sunscreen, so he pushed through. He said he wants to play soccer next!
Other than that, business as usual.
