Truth be told, I miss blogging about my boys. I think I'll step back from posting my "projects" and just leave this blog for my babies. I guess that just means I'll have to start a photo blog just for my hobby. After all, it's not really growing up, Ben & Henry when looking at fancy pics. So...on to the babies.
Ben has been quite the toddler lately. He has taken a fancy to not wearing any clothes. He goes to bed dressed, and a few hours later his unclothed bottom is straight up in the air. I can redress him without so much as a whimper. Good, little sleeper that boy.
He WILL NOT share with his brother. It's hilarious to watch as he pushes his toys away from Henry little by little, or plops down right in front of him to block his stash. It's quite amusing, but also tragic when we make him share and he acts like we just told him that candy will never be allowed in the house again - ever. Sure, it's all about teaching him how to share. But boy howdy is this a difficult lesson.
Henry's third tooth has popped through. He was on an eating hiatus these last few weeks. I mean to say that he wanted everything but his bottle. He would eat anything his little fingers could get his hands on, just not milk. I suppose since the tooth has made an appearance (top, left) he is back to self. I love to watch him pull himself up on everything and then grin ear to ear. He will be walking in no time, which is bad because he is already into everything. I really don't remember that with Ben. He was sort of stationary if you gave him toys and played with him. Henry is across the room and in the toy bin in 30 seconds flat. He's fast, but still chubby. I enjoy that chubbiness. Oh, and I swear that his first word is No. He says it all the time. Henry, do you want to take a bath? No Henry, do you want to go to bed? No Henry, do you want to eat? YaYaYa! Maybe it's just us, but I'm seriously counting this as his first word. Ben was a super early talker, and Henry is determined to catch up.
I'm thinking it's time for a room makeover for Henry. I like Pooh, but I'm thinking something a little more big-boy. I also want to redo our living room. Don't know if I have the energy, but we have been throwing around a couple of ideas. It does involve painting, and a lot of it. I don't know if I can stand to see Chad standing on the handrail and leaning 8 feet over the staircase. We have two kids now, and I could use the help.
