We love home. Everything about it. I'll have a lot more pictures in the next week or so, but we are headed to dinner in a few and must prep the babes.

Why is Ben never wearing any pants?! I swear I can't keep pants (or pull-ups) on that kid. If he could run around naked, he would be ecstatic. He totally cracked up when Henry fell over. Ah, brotherly love.

My Mother's Day was wonderful. I went to a movie all by myself. Best. Gift. Ever.

Then the boys took me to Botanica, where you can see from the pictures they were enthusiastic beyond belief. We did have a nice time actually. It was just darn hot (in the 90's) and even I was over it about 10 minutes in. The flowers were beautiful, but neither babe wanted to participate in picture taking. We had some nice lemonade and cookies, and home we went.

Oh I forgot to mention that I got to sleep in too! My body would not stay asleep past 8:30am however. I was trying for at least 10 o'clock. Boo.

Bliss

It's the day before Mother's Day, and all my boys are napping. We had a nice morning at the park, with beautiful weather. Ben was busy running around and eating ice cream, so I wasn't able to snap too many shots of him that didn't involve chocolate drips (although those shots are the cutest).

Mommies. I sure do wish I could be with mine today. Which leads me to...

I added a blog to my list, because quite frankly she made me cry. In a good way, I think. Fortunately I am not in a spill-your-guts mood, so let's just say that it struck a chord in both Chad & myself. I believe in signs, sure. However I'm more inclined to follow their lead when it's the answer I was looking for, is the easy way out, or makes logical sense. Now when my head and my heart are at odds, my mind takes over 99% of the time. I'm trying really hard to strike a heart/mind balance with some decisions that we have (more like want) to make. Unfortunately, I'm not sure there is always such a thing.

Henry is now 6 months! I'll post his 6 month pics soon. I have a few edits to make. He can't sit by himself for too long. I remember Ben was a bit unsteady at that age too. We work with him on it, but he just prefers to stand - with help of course. He tries really hard to crawl too. It also seems that what we thought was a tooth, was indeed not a tooth. You would think we'd know what to look for. I swear I saw the tip of one, but maybe I was overly excited.

Ben is doing quite well on the potty, but mom is having some trouble. He does well telling us when he has to go for the most part. But there are times when we are playing and I just forget to ask! Candy helps of course, and I'm so proud of him! He looks so cute in his toy story underwear.
