Whew. What a busy couple of weekends. We had Rozzy visit last weekend, and grandpa & grandma came this weekend. We love visitors! Ben loved spending time with grandpa in the sandbox and Henry was quite the good boy for grandma. We had weather in the 70's and Ben was itching to get outside. Luckily Ben was there to help grandpa when his arm became stuck in the sandbox :). My dad went with us to music class on Saturday, where Ben lived up to the hype. He danced in the middle of the circle most of the time, and was spotted hugging others when he was supposed to be with us. He is quite a lovey, and silly boy. He only lost it once the whole weekend, but he rebounded quite well and was his adorable self as we said our goodbyes this morning.
Ben has learned to climb out of his bed, and it was only a matter of time. This makes naps and bedtime a bit difficult. He climbed out of bed at 4am this morning, stared Chad in the face, and said Daddy, breakfast. Henry on the other hand, is still making this all a bit easier. He is sleeping quite well still, except for this ugly cough. Some day I will decide to put him in his own room. I just can't seem to make the switch quite yet. We put him in the bouncer today and he holds his head up very well. We also started him on cereal this week. The bottle wasn't cutting it, and I think the cereal is helping him sleep a little sounder as well. He doesn't seem to care for it too much, but it may just be him getting used to the spoon. I remember Ben's first bites were quite comical as well. Once he got the hang of it, he was off and running. I think Henry will be the same. I'm just looking forward to making food for him too. I'll have to invest in a food processor this time, as my blender quit on me. It will be peas and potatoes around here before I know it.
