Ahhhh Friday! Tonight I am going to chill out with Auntie Andrea and mom while we watch a movie about a girl with a pig nose. Interesting. I also heard mention of 12 boxes of girl scout cookie arriving at my door today. This can only mean good things.
It was very chilly again here today, but I was able to go to Sam's Club for diapers. I think I keep Huggies in business. Boy, I am really enjoying being the handsome baby that I am.

I've been having a few rough nights lately. It seems like those days of 5+ hours sleep in a row are a thing of the past. Poor dad. It's a good thing I'm so darn cute.

Auntie Rozzy is here! She came to visit all the way from New Mexico - yup, she loves me. We went out to a nice dinner on Friday, and we napped and played all day today. Auntie Rozzy says that I am super tiny and smell like a baby. I have eaten a lot and had several wardrobe changes since she arrived. I hope she moves into our basement so I can see her whenever I want to.

I wanted to wait until I knew for sure, but yes it is confirmed that I have discovered my right arm! On my two month birthday, I noticed this thing go by my face. Upon closer inspection I noticed that it was attached! Now I simply can't get enough of it. I like to stare at it, then bring it closer to my face (sometimes punching myself.) It's great...I wonder if I have more of these.

I'm gearing up for baseball season by wearing the hat of my favorite team...the cubbies! Pitchers and catchers reported last week to spring training - won't be long now!

Today is a big day for me - I'm officially 2 months old! So...I decided to give my parents a gift. Not the usual smelly diaper, but 7 1/2 hours of uninterrupted and blissful sleep. Yes! I slept from 10:30 pm until 6:00 am...and I'm sleeping right now too. I spent a few hours last night with Auntie Kristy and my buddy Lucas. We had so much fun that it must have worn me out. Mom cried tears of joy this morning.
Today we have a few options, including Target, the Home Show, or staying in and watching a flick. Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Give your friends, family, and pets a smooch.

No pictures today. I had my 2 month shots, and they hurt! I had 5 total, and screamed for dad the majority of the day. However, the doc did say that she was impressed by my eye contact and how I was "talking" to her with my coo's. I am now 12 1/2 pounds - right on target. I've grown about an inch since birth, so she said I will be a little taller than dad. Translation: no slam dunking in my future. Oh and the nurses were all mesmerized by my baby blues...I smell trouble.

Oh how I love bath time! I was a little stinker all day, so mom & dad decided to give me a bath to calm me down. Well, it worked like a charm! Once I was all baby fresh, I fell asleep on mommy's lap.

Well, we did end up going to the zoo today. It was great...or so I hear because I slept the entire time. I opened my eyes every now and then to take in the sights, but I think I'll have to go back once I'm bigger. The cat display is under construction, but I was able to see the biggest of them all - the lion! You can see him on the big rock behind me & dad. I also enjoyed the big bears, even though he looked a little bored. Now I'm sleepy...off to bed. Good night!

I will be submitting this first image to GQ...who can resist those cheeks! The second photo is my first attempt to read a book. Although I didn't get too far, I feel I will be reading novels in no time (if my dad has anything to say about it). I did enjoy the bright colors though, and the funny looking guy on the front who I always hear so much about.

I have wonderful conversations with pooh bear during the day. We talk about the warm weather, my trips to Babies R Us with dad - he didn't buy me toys :( - and how I think He Man is a pretty cool dude. If the weather is nice as forecasted this weekend, I'll be heading to the zoo to visit some big cats and monkeys.

We did end up going for a walk the other day, although it was mighty windy! I had so much fun on our outing though, that I even let mommy put a hat on me without a fuss. Oh, last night I slept for five hours straight! I hope to make a habit out of it.

Also, CONGRATULATIONS to my Uncle Brian and soon to be Auntie Christina on their engagement! I sure wish I had a little cousin to play with...
